Swerim has around 200 employees. We continuously build new knowledge and several employees study research in parallel with their employment.
Swerim's development is strongly linked to the company's ability to utilize competence and to develop and stimulate the employees' competence development. The strategic competence building is usually carried out in the form of research projects which may involve further deepening of cutting-edge competences or be investments in early phases in new areas.
Close collaboration with industry, academia and society
Our research takes place in close collaboration with both industry, academia and various social institutions. Swerim participates in both national and international collaboration projects and research programs. European collaboration is important for knowledge building.
We are currently participating in a large number of EU projects. Of the researchers hired for the Swedish operations, approximately 25 percent are recruited from abroad.
Through cooperation across areas of competence, we further develop our employees' competence and innovativeness and ability to go from idea to industrial use.
