The Process Monitoring (PROC) research consortium provides you with a contact network and offers participation in the research and development of new techniques of on-line process monitoring.
As a member you will get access to cutting edge techniques and information about analytical process monitoring. We inform our network about new discoveries and test new applications for the industry. Within the consortium new techniques and technologies are developed and tested – from lab systems to prototypes.
Knowledge and technique development
As a member you will be able to:
- participate in research projects together with industry, scientists and equipment companies.
- network with companies that have similar research questions
- get access to information about the latest techniques and how you can benefit from them.
Successful projects within the PROC research consortium
- Development of an online sensor for chemical analysis of process fluids (SCGD)
- Construction of a UV-technology for detection of low oil content on surfaces online
- Building a low cost and compact prototype for detection of smoke online
- Development of a technology for chemical analysis of slagg online (LIBS).
- Improved hydrogen and argon gas analysis using Thermal Desorption Mass Spectrometry (TD-MS)
