Congratulations on the defense Joel Falk

A big congratulations to Joel Falk who has defended his dissertation at LTU. The title is ”The fate and ash transformations of phosphorus in combustion of biomass and sewage sludge”. The opponent was Professor Franz Winter, TU Wien. Marcus Öhman, LTU, Nils Skoglund, och professor Dan Boström, Umeå University have been supervisors.

This work investigates the effect of combustion technology, fuel ash composition, and chemical association of phosphorus in the fuel on the fate, i.e., distribution and speciation, and ash transformations of phosphorus in combustion and co-combustion of biomass and sewage sludge.
