New Swerim – Kanthal atomizer

The equipment is in place and the first powder batch is tested in the new Swerim – Kanthal atomizer.

This is a big step for Sweden towards maintaining its world-leading position within powder metallurgy.

“The collaboration enables a unique platform for R&D activities in alloy and powder development for the whole of Sweden”, says Annika Strondl, Group Manager in AM and powder metallurgy at Swerim.

Soon it will be ready for inauguration.
