The aim of the Swedish consortium's use-case focused on metal production is to bring together sensor data and digital twins towards creating insights that enable improved quality of the product, production process, and condition monitoring.
Project partners from Sweden are Swerim, Gemit, Prevas and Morgårdshammar, Ovako and Gränges. The platform solutions developed in this project would be directly applicable to Ovako and Gränges in the use-case.
The VMAP Analytics project will also establish an ontology-based framework enabling sensor data storage and communication between digital twins following a standard. This activity will be performed in sync with the Swedish standards institute (SIS).
Facts
- Jernkontoret's TO60 will act as the project's Industry Advisory Board.
- Vinnova funds the project through the Eureka cluster program ITEA.
