A major step towards carbon neutral production of ferrochrome

For the first time, successful trials have demonstrated that biocarbon functions as a reducing agent in the production of ferrochrome (FeCr). 

Simulation improves materials development in the steel industry

Development of new materials in the steel industry is costly and time-consuming. Simulation can improve efficiency in both materials development and steelmaking.

New possibilities with graphene in electric vehicles

Compared with purely metallic materials, the properties of metal composites reinforced with graphene are significantly improved.

Waste recycled for steel production

In a newly developed process, the salt slag from aluminium industry can be recycled as useable slag former for the steel industry.
