Large scale research facilities in metals industry R&D

Max IV

This seminar concern large scale Infrastructure, that is the advanced analysis tools now being built up in Lund, MaxIV and ESS (also including Swedish beamline at Petra III in Hamburg).

Project leaders at Swerim together with industry representatives will present the 7 pilot projects that we have been working on spring and summer 2019. We will also hear presentations from representatives from the facilities, on their current status and general presentations on tools and possibilities. We will discuss together with meeting participants how we in the metal-industry in the future are going to work with the advanced analysis equipment currently being built up at these facilities.
