Kick off

News 

On 17 September 2026 Swerim officially kicked off the RFCS project TRANSFER at SWERIM in Stockholm, together with our project partners.

Over the next 42 months, TRANSFER will explore how additive manufacturing can enable more sustainable and high-performance stainless steel components for hydrogen applications. By combining expertise across the entire value chain, from feedstock production and additive manufacturing to hydrogen testing, component validation, and sustainability assessment, we aim to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen-compatible materials for Europe's energy transition.

It was a great start, and we look forward to sharing our progress and results along the way.
