The research institute Swerim conducts industry-oriented research and development on metals and their pathway from raw material to finished product. As the project coordinator of the HåBiMet projects, Swerim will draw on its expertise in biocarbon, circular economy, and fossil-free industry. Through the HåBiMet projects, Swerim aims to help accelerate the green transition of industry by supporting the shift from fossil carbon to biogenic carbon, thereby ensuring a resilient supply of metals and minerals. This aligns closely with Swerim’s mission to strengthen industry competitiveness through improved product quality, increased resource efficiency, and more sustainable manufacturing processes. Our vision is a fossil-free and circular industry.
