Digital Metal Values – a new collaboration for the implementation of Digital Product Passports
Swerim is proud to introduce Digital Metal Values, a strategic initiative that brings together industry leaders, research organisations and trade associations to enable an efficient and economically sustainable implementation of Digital Product Passports (DPPs) across the entire metal value chain
This collaborative project covers all stages of the life cycle of metal products and includes four pilot cases: steel sheet, steel bar, aluminium, and cast components. To maximise impact, the project also includes a dedicated coordination work package focusing on knowledge sharing and dissemination.
Digital Metal Values is part of the Impact Innovation programme Swedish Metals & Minerals, an initiative by the Swedish Energy Agency, Formas and Vinnova within the framework of Impact Innovation.
The project is coordinated by Swerim.
