Group Manager, Metallurgy
We're growing and expanding with a new Metallurgy Research Group in Luleå.
Lead research that makes a real difference. As a Group Manager at Swerim, you will help shape people, industry-driven innovation and sustainable metallurgical processes – turning research into real societal impact.
This is a newly established position offering a unique opportunity to build and develop a research group, support the growth of talented colleagues, and initiate new industrial research activities. The business area focuses on environment, energy and metallurgy, with research aimed at developing metallurgical processes in close collaboration with industry and with clear industrial value.
As a Group Manager at Swerim, you will play a key role in developing our research, business and people. You will lead a team of 10–12 researchers and specialists, driving industrially relevant projects within environment, energy and metallurgy. The role will also be important as the area expands into hydrometallurgy and battery-related research. The team has access to well-equipped pilot and experimental facilities, supported by experienced technicians.
