Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Swerim and India's SRTMI
Swerim has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SRTMI (Steel Research and Technology Mission of India). The agreement creates new opportunities for joint research and innovation projects that support the transition to a fossil-free and competitive steel industry.
SRTMI is a collaborative initiative that brings together the Indian steel industry, academia and research organisations, with support from the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. It is hoped that the partnership will lead to joint research projects within the framework of LeadIT and other initiatives supporting the industrial transition.
The SRTMI visit took place within the framework of the Industrial Transition Partnership (ITP), with the aim of promoting the transition to a fossil-free industry while strengthening international collaboration on industrial decarbonisation.
