The research station's memory prize 2024
Marcel Magnusson has been awarded the 2024 prize "The research station's memory prize (Forskningsstationens minne)".
The motivation reads: "Marcel began his career as a researcher at the institute in 2008 and over the years has become a highly valued colleague, researcher, and manager. In recent times, he has been working within Pilot and Demo, where his deep knowledge of metallurgy and pilot trials is a significant asset to the company. He has fostered strong collaboration between researchers and technicians in Swerim’s pilot halls and within projects. With his dedication, he has supported our most important clients with their challenges. Furthermore, Marcel has demonstrated great enthusiasm and curiosity in creating new projects and opportunities together with his colleagues.
Through his approach and commitment, Marcel serves as an excellent role model for a researcher at Swerim."

The research station's memory prize (Forskningsstationens minne) is awarded annually to one or more people who, through their good presentations or results, have made a very significant contribution to the advancement of Swerim's position within needs-based industrial research and development concerning metals and their route from raw materials to finished products. Prize sum: SEK 25,000.
