Resource and Recycling Day 2026 – popular webinar
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s edition of Resource and Recycling Day! This annual webinar, hosted by Jernkontoret and Swerim AB on the last Friday of September, brought together participants from industry and academia.
The programme highlighted how recycling, reuse and valorization of residual materials can support the mining and metals industry in the green transition and contribute to a more sustainable society.
This year’s topics ranged from valorization of EAF slags and circular aluminium to recovery of high-value metals, steel scrap upcycling, cement and steel co-recycling, and economic recycling optimization.
